BAÑOS DE AGUA SANTA

GENERAL INFORMATION

Baños, a beautiful city that is located at the end of the Andean region and at the beginning of the Amazon. This gives us a diverse and variable microclimate. It is located in the province of Tungurahua just 180 km from Quito and 35 km from Ambato. The tourist city is located in a valley with waterfalls and hot springs next to the Tungurahua volcano with a height of 5,016 meters, you will also find green mountains everywhere

Baños de Agua Santa is an ideal city where you can practice various adventure sports such as: rafting, kayaking, canyoning, rock climbing, bridge jumping, horseback riding, ecological walks, canopy, mountain biking, etc. 
You can't do extreme sports without adequate security and a person who knows about this. You have to take care of nature when you practicing extreme sports, because most extreme sports are in the environment. And you don't have to stay all day in the hotel, because there are many places waiting to be visited by you.

TOURISM

Nowhere will you find a place as beautiful as Baños, nature is part of its landscapes and it is almost impossible not to feel trapped by the magic of the place. Anywhere you can find fun, whether in extreme sports, in ecological walks, discos, bars, the popular "chivas", which are a traditional means of transport used to cross the city and enjoy the atmosphere and music, in a different way. Somewhere in this city you will also find the peace that you need so much.




The first stop is the Agoyán Waterfall, its waters fall about forty meters away, providing a show to visitors. During the tour you can see the Manto de la Novia waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls that Baños has, it is approximately 40 meters high with a single fall. Then you can enjoy a walk through the tarabita or through rock tunnels in a buggy, bicycle or quad bike. And of course marvel at the impressive Pailón del Diablo. And you can continue with a hike to the spectacular Machay waterfall with crystal clear water. You cannot finish this tour without first having contemplated the majestic Tungurahua volcano from El Mirador de la ciudad, in the Bellavista area, where you could contemplate the impotent "Mama Tungurahua" and enjoy a "canelazo".
